What we provide

The Archangel Centers is an outpatient provider. We deliver partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and standard outpatient (OP) programs on-site.

When someone needs medical detox or inpatient rehab first, we do not provide those levels of care, but we coordinate placement with trusted partners and help you transition back into our outpatient programs when you are ready.

What happens when you call

A real person answers, not a recording or a chatbot. You will speak with a member of our admissions team who listens, answers your questions, and explains your options at your pace.

There is no pressure and no obligation. The call is free, it is confidential, and our admissions line is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can call for yourself or on behalf of someone you love.

  • A live admissions specialist, every time you call
  • Free, confidential, and judgment-free
  • Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • No obligation to enroll to ask questions

How insurance verification works

Most treatment is covered by insurance. Under the federal Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act, most PPO and HMO plans are required to cover behavioral health and substance use treatment the same way they cover other medical care.

We accept many commercial plans, and we work with state coverage in both states we serve, including New Jersey FamilyCare in New Jersey and Medicaid in North Carolina, where coverage expanded in December 2023. When you call, we run a free benefits check, explain what your plan covers, and walk you through any out-of-pocket costs before you commit to anything.

  • Free, no-obligation benefits check over the phone
  • Federal parity protections for most PPO and HMO plans
  • New Jersey FamilyCare and expanded North Carolina Medicaid accepted
  • Clear answers on coverage and costs before you enroll

What to expect after the first call

After your first call, the next step is a confidential clinical assessment. A licensed member of our clinical team reviews your history, your goals, and your current situation to understand what you are facing.

From there, we recommend the level of outpatient care that fits your needs, whether that is partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, or standard outpatient, and we build a plan around your schedule and your life. If a higher level of care is needed first, we help coordinate that placement and welcome you back into our outpatient programs when the time is right.

Your privacy is protected

Every conversation with The Archangel Centers is confidential. We follow the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and federal substance use confidentiality rules, so your information stays private and is never shared without your permission.

You can ask questions, share your story, and explore your options without worrying about who else will know. Reaching out for help is a private decision, and we treat it that way.

Help for families and loved ones

If you are calling about a spouse, a parent, a child, or a friend, you are not alone. Many of the people who reach out to us are family members trying to help someone they love.

We can answer your questions, explain how outpatient treatment works, and talk through how to start the conversation with your loved one. We will tell you what we can and cannot share under privacy rules, and we will help you understand the steps to getting them connected with care.

I had the honor of touring this facility, and it was absolutely beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully designed. But more than how it looked, you could feel the love in every detail. Watching the staff interact with clients genuinely touched my heart.
