What substances does The Archangel Centers treat?
We treat alcohol, opioids, fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, benzodiazepines, methamphetamine, prescription drugs, and polysubstance use. Treatment happens in our outpatient programs in New Jersey and North Carolina, with co-occurring mental health conditions addressed in the same plan.
How do I know if someone has a substance use disorder?
Common signs include using more than intended, failed attempts to cut back, cravings, neglecting responsibilities, and continuing despite harm. If you are unsure, a free, confidential assessment at The Archangel Centers can help clarify where you or a loved one stands.
Do you provide detox?
The Archangel Centers is an outpatient provider and does not provide medical detox or inpatient care on site. When someone needs detox first, we coordinate a safe placement with accredited partners, then step you into our outpatient programs to continue recovery.
Can addiction be treated on an outpatient basis?
Yes. Many people recover successfully through outpatient care, especially after detox or as a step down from a higher level. Outpatient treatment lets you build recovery skills while keeping work and family connections in New Jersey and North Carolina.
How soon can I start treatment?
Often within a day or two. The first step is a free, confidential assessment, after which The Archangel Centers verifies your insurance and schedules your start at our New Jersey or North Carolina center. When detox is needed first, we coordinate that placement right away so there is no dangerous wait.
In-network with most major commercial insurance plans
Verification is free and confidential, with no obligation. We tell you exactly what is covered for outpatient care before you commit.
