Learn moreCommon questions
Does insurance cover outpatient addiction treatment?
Yes, in most cases. Federal parity law and the Affordable Care Act require most plans to cover substance use and mental health treatment, including the outpatient PHP, IOP, and outpatient levels The Archangel Centers provides in New Jersey and North Carolina. We verify your benefits for free.
How do I find out what my plan pays?
The Archangel Centers contacts your insurer and reads back your deductible, copay or coinsurance, out-of-pocket maximum, and any prior-authorization requirement. We then give you a plain-language cost estimate before you commit. Verification is free, no obligation, and usually same day.
What if I do not have insurance?
Call anyway. We can review Medicaid options, New Jersey FamilyCare in New Jersey and North Carolina Medicaid in North Carolina, and discuss self-pay arrangements. Not having insurance does not have to mean not getting treatment.
Will treatment be kept confidential from my employer?
Yes. Treatment is processed as a confidential medical claim protected by federal privacy law. Your insurer sees a claim like any covered medical service, and your care team does not share details with your employer.
Which insurance plans do you accept?
The Archangel Centers works with most major commercial insurers and verifies in-network and out-of-network benefits for our New Jersey and North Carolina outpatient programs. The fastest way to know your coverage is a free benefit check, where we read back your costs in plain language before you commit.
In-network with most major commercial insurance plans
Verification is free and confidential, with no obligation. We tell you exactly what is covered for outpatient care before you commit.
