What are the levels of outpatient care?
The outpatient continuum runs from partial hospitalization, the most structured, to intensive outpatient, then standard outpatient, the lightest. The Archangel Centers offers all three in New Jersey and North Carolina so people can step down gradually as they get stronger.
How do I know which level of care I need?
A clinical assessment determines the right starting point based on your symptoms, history, and support at home. The Archangel Centers offers a free, confidential assessment and recommends the level of outpatient care that fits your situation.
What is the difference between PHP and IOP?
Partial hospitalization involves more hours per week and more daily structure than intensive outpatient. IOP is a step down with fewer weekly sessions, designed for people who are more stable and balancing treatment with work, school, or family.
Do you offer inpatient or residential care?
No. The Archangel Centers provides outpatient levels of care only. When someone needs medical detox or inpatient stabilization first, we coordinate accredited placement, then step you into our outpatient programs with no dangerous gap in care.
Can I work or go to school during outpatient treatment?
Often, yes. Intensive outpatient and standard outpatient are built around real life, with sessions scheduled so you can keep working or studying. Partial hospitalization asks for more daytime hours. The Archangel Centers helps you choose a level in New Jersey or North Carolina that fits your responsibilities.
