Dr. Justin Skolnick, DO, is the Medical Director at The Archangel Centers, the physician responsible for the medical side of every client's treatment. His training is in emergency medicine and behavioral health, the two specialties an outpatient addiction program needs most.
His approach is simple: in medicine, skill is important, but compassion is essential. Healing starts with safety, physical, mental, and emotional, and the medical role is to remove the cliffs people are afraid of falling off so the clinical work can happen.
- Initial medical evaluation and ongoing oversight for all active clients
- Medication-Assisted Treatment administration (Suboxone, Vivitrol, Sublocade)
- Psychiatric medication management for co-occurring conditions (depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar, ADHD)
- Clinical-safety oversight across admissions, programming, and discharge
- Coordination with outside medical providers for chronic conditions
